Our generation should not be defined by addiction.
Project Reboot is a grassroots movement by college students reclaiming intentionality in a world designed to distract. We believe in connection, reflection, and the intentional use of time.
46% of teens say they use the internet “almost constantly” — Pew Research Center, 2024
Our Mission
Project Reboot exists because we believe our generation deserves better than an attention economy that profits from our distraction. We are college students who have seen firsthand how addictive technology fragments our focus, erodes our relationships, and diminishes our capacity for presence.
We are not anti-technology. We are pro-intentionality. We believe in using tools that serve us rather than the other way around. Through collective pledges, community events, and cultural storytelling, we are building a movement that proves another way is possible.
This is not a top-down campaign. It is a grassroots shift driven by people like you—students, friends, and communities choosing to reclaim their time, their attention, and their lives.

Every pledge is an act of reclaiming your attention. Choose the commitments that matter to you -- connection, reflection, or intentional use of your time.
